Funding available for Oxfordshire schools to save energy: interest-free Schools Energy Efficiency Loan
Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has launched an interest-free Schools Energy Efficiency Loan to enable OCC maintained schools to finance the installation of energy efficiency measures that will help reduce energy use.
This funding is now closed. If you are interested in future offers, please express your interest via our Help desk to be the first to know about future opportunities.
Maintained schools can now apply for a OCC loan of up to £70,000 to install LED lighting and/or solar PV. We understand that each school has its unique energy requirements, which is why we offer the flexibility to choose either LED lighting or solar PV, or both, based on your specific needs and priorities.
By taking advantage of this loan, your school can make significant progress towards energy efficiency while simultaneously helping to reduce operational costs.

When can I sign up?

How do I sign up?
ACES is available to provide advice and support to schools in applying for the loan. To receive the application pack for the loan scheme, email us at: info@aces-schools.org.
When will applications close?
The application window for this loan scheme will close on the 31st October
or sooner if oversubscribed.
Is permission from the building owner required?
Yes, permission from the building owner is required for works. A form is in the application pack.
