Action on Carbon and Energy in Schools (ACES)

Free energy assessment

Apply for a fully funded energy assessment to kick start your energy efficiency improvements

We have currently allocated all of our free energy assessments. If you are interested in future offers, please let us know here to be the first to hear of future opportunities.

Action on Carbon and Energy in Schools has a limited number of free energy assessments available to County-maintained schools in Oxfordshire.

The assessment will be carried out by the Environmental Information Exchange (EiE), a unit based within Oxford Brookes University and delivery partner in ACES.

They provide energy assessment services that consider a range of actions to reduce energy consumption. Some actions have no cost and are simple to implement. Potential savings are defined and expressed in clear steps designed to prioritise savings. The benefits of having an assessment include saving staff time, ensuring a wide range of established energy improvements are considered, and taking advantage of funding and other support schemes

You can use this form to apply for a free energy assessment for your school.

If you are not a county-maintained school, we may still be able to offer you a free energy assessment through alternative funding. Please contact us at info@ace-schools.org to enquire.

Please complete the online form below and a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

What happens next?

A member of the ACES team will be in touch to let you know if you’re eligible for a free energy assessment. If successful, we’ll be in touch to talk about the process and arrange a date to complete the assessment.
